923 – Space Galaxy Transport
An icon from the past… reimagined for the future
The 923 – Space Galaxy Transport is a modern reinterpretation inspired by the legendary LEGO® Classic Space sets 918 and 928.
It combines the compact agility of the 918 with the exploratory ambition and structural depth of the 928, resulting in a spacecraft that pays tribute to both classics.
Designed for autonomous long-range missions, the ship is piloted by an integrated droid, but also includes a Classic Space astronaut minifigure — ready to step in for manual operations and deep-space exploration.
I built it shortly before the contest, originally for my children… but also — and perhaps more importantly — for the child I once was.
A kid who spent hours imagining star systems, colorful planets and dreams made of bricks.
The construction is sturdy and compact, designed to withstand real play, even in the hands of young children.
