LEGO SYSTEM Food Store Remake

While I had been playing and building with Lego from my early on, we only had those classic brick boxes and the old bricks from my Dad... so I was really exited, when I found my first 'real' set under the Christmas Tree - it had building instructions, cool minifigures and even funny pieces for food! Even though the set (Nr. 1254) was a really simple one (and probably bought by some aunt or uncle at a gas station) I was so happy to build and re-build it again and again... ☺️

For this challenge, I wondered how to update the set - after all it's not one of the super nostalgic early sets, but a food store from 1999... then I thought about how this kind of store might have been updated in the past 25 years: new paint, new interior, including hot snacks for travellers or workers in their lunch brake, a digital cash register, maybe an ATM, some solar panels on the roof and an e-charging station...

So, thats what I did with my build... 😉 I hope you like this remake of my first ever lego set!
