LEGO Adventurers: Ruins at Forestmen's Crossing
Ready for another adventure! Trusting his wits and the legends of the Forestmen, Johnny Thunder has come upon the ruins of Forestmen's Crossing. Join him to see what secrets lie within the abandoned tower!
I still remember opening my first Lego set and assembling it - Forestmen's Crossing remains my favorite set to this day! I also greatly enjoyed the Adventurer's theme and wanted to merge the two worlds.
For my build, I leaned into the idea of nostalgia - beautiful, fond memories mixed with a hint of sadness or longing for the past. Even though the Forestmen's structures have fallen into ruin, nature has thrived and reclaimed the space.
I created the build at half scale but kept the Johnny Thunder minifigure at the normal scale to emphasize the distance between the present and the past. He also represents us as we look back and appreciate the things that inspired and impacted us in our past. I hope this set sparks reflection and inspiration for you like it did for me!
