Operation Ares: Mars Modularity System
Briefing
A catastrophic meteor impact has struck Mars, crippling our colony and scattering highly radioactive crystals across the surface. These unstable shards threaten any hope of future settlement — but may hold the key to powering human expansion across the solar system.
Operation Ares has commenced...
Your mission: survive the aftermath of the cataclysm and reclaim the devastated Martian surface. Build heavy-duty rovers, fast recon dropships, and the mighty Ares Command Cruiser. Secure and contain the volatile crystals — then refine them into a powerful new energy source.
Description
To me, Mars Mission was all about the vehicles — especially the human ones. This concept focuses on that by creating a modular sandbox of interchangeable parts. Kids can mix and match to build a wide variety of rovers, bases, and spacecraft inspired by the original sets.
This is my small twist on a great LEGO theme — a tribute to its legacy, with more functionality and creative freedom at its core.
