Highway Patrol Redux
This was not the first Lego set I owned, but one that I loved. My parents' dining room table became the endless highway where these dedicated officers patrolled.
I kept the design of the phone box largely the same, but with a modern build and added a base with a wall, bench and lamppost as well as palm trees which give it a late 80s/90s feel.
For the minifigures, I kept their retro uniforms while updating them with belts, accessories and modern helmets. I also added an additional figure to increase playability, giving the cops someone to arrest!
The motorcycles were for me the most memorable part of the set, so I simply substituted them for modern ones.
Thanks for looking and sharing in my nostalgia!
