Res-Q in Teal-City
Even after 27 years one thing has not changed - there is still people who need to be saved in the LEGO city!
The old speed boat comes with a fresh coat of paint now, yet surprisingly, many of the old rescue tools are still in use. The support car, now amphibious, can still be released from the boat when necessary and the dinghy mounted on top when speed is needed.
For me as a child Res-Q was an iconic line and the 6451 is still the set I connect with the rubber dinghy. When I saw that it was available in teal I knew I had to try myself on a colour swap and some smaller tweaks to modernise the set. I'm still stoked with the playability one could get out of a set of just 200 parts and I hope to bring some of it to the modern times.
Thank you for your support!
