Cadillac Returns as a HotRod

For my birthday in 1975, my grandfather gave me the Cadillac, set number 390. It was my very first LEGO set, and I loved it.

Building a car that looked like the full-size version was something very special for me, and it was the beginning of years of building fun.

A few years ago, I returned to the world of (LEGO) bricks after 40 years, and one of the first models I bought was this 1975 Cadillac.

I was inspired by this Cadillac and so it returns as a Hot Rod after 50 years.

The background design is my own creation.
