Power Miners Mine Mech Revamp
As a child of the 2000s, I grew up in an era rife with original Lego themes. From Atlantis to Mars Mission, all sorts of imaginative adventures could be had, but one theme always stood out to me. Power Miners. With the adorably cool rock monsters (recreated as a brick built figure for this submission), the striking lime and orange color scheme, and all the translucent crystal elements, it was practically love at first sight for me as a kid.
For this submission, I built a modernization of the original 62 part Mine Mech set with thirteen points of articulation (fourteen if you count the roll cage opening) and included an upscaled take on the Power Crystal element (which houses another crystal element inside, crystal-ception) as well as a take on my personal favorite rock monster, Meltrox.
I hope this build can inspire the imaginations of children and adults alike.
