Legoland Pizzeria

Still in business after 30 years!

This model is inspired by Pizza to Go. It isn't actually a set from my childhood. Rather, it is one of my favorite sets from when I came back to Lego building after my dark ages. For me, this was the perfect, small-scale town set. It included a unique building and a small vehicle -- all in under 160 pieces.

In expanding the original model, I was able to include a couple of updates. My version makes use of newer elements, including a pizza oven made from masonry bricks. It also showcases modern building techniques with a front counter which makes use of extensive studs not on top construction.
