The Log Loader
You pressed it, it hissed, then it moved.
Oh, the pneumatic miracle of the Technic sets! The 8443 Pneumatic Log Loader was hands down my favorite Technic set (and probably most frequently rebuilt as well), something I could spend hours with just picking up bricks and moving them around in the house.
It always amazed me, how strong compressed air could be, and one has to admit that the tubes and pumps/cylinders gave an extreme and beautiful look to these products.
This build is an homage to the 8443 set, keeping the most important original functionalities, but in a modern LEGO City scale, including the loader' gripper, the very volatile arm (with locking mechanism) and the top-steering functionality. Oh, and look! There's the iconic yellow-black pump as well!
Place the logger in a modern City-themed set or just use it as a standalone machine - all the same, countless hours of fun are guaranteed!
Ps. graphics, rendering and background are my creations.
