M:Tron Beacon Tracer 2025

An homage/upgrade of the M:Tron Beacon Tracer (6833), which was my first LEGO set. Well technically my first LEGO set was the red suitcase that came with a bunch of random bricks, that I got when I was about 5ish, but that doesn't count (in my opinion). It wouldn't be until I think 1992, when I went to spend the summer with my grandparents, that I got another set. My Grandma took me to the Toys R Us at the mall and on a whim bought me the Beacon Tracer.
I wanted to pay homage to my first set, but also include it in the build. All the parts to the original Beacon Tracer are in there! The antenna array is on a 2-degree gimbal. I didn't include the signature M:Tron magnet hitch since it wasn't on the original Beacon Tracer, but the M:Tron branded canopy is there. I substituted Medium Stone Grey for the original Light Grey, and added a bit of Dark Red and Dark Bluish Grey for extra visual interest. Only 7 part/color combos are currently unavailable.
