Return to the Golden Palace

Some of my favourite Belville sets come from the 'Golden Land' theme. They came out in the early 2000s and were set in a mystic Eastern world, rich in jewel tones and fun architectural details.

This is a reworking, updating and shrinking of set 5858 Golden Palace, I've taken inspiration from the shaping of the onion domes on the original, and I've kept some of the rich colour, although I've toned down the bright orange for a more earthy shade!
