918 Mk3

The 918 Space Transport is a great little spaceship, but I feel like it has never really got to be in the spotlight. It has always been in the shadow of its larger siblings, the 928 Galaxy Explorer and the 924 Space Cruiser. Even if it did reoccur with an updated version together with the anniversary model of the 10497 Galaxy Explorer, it was just as an alt build.

This challenge is an awesome opportunity to give the 918 a chance to shine and show what it can be on its own - The 918 Mk3.

This model is also incorporating some of the style from the most recent City Space sub theme, most notably the 60446 Galactic Spaceship and 60430 Interstellar Spaceship.

What is up with the rat?

Well… with the ship and the pilot completed I had used up 249 pieces. Not exactly plenty of pieces left for cargo to be transported - So my solution is that there is now a rat living in the cargo hold. If I had one more piece I would give the rat a piece of cheese :)
