A New Knight's Challenge

Hear ye, hear ye! Come down to the tiltyard outside of the Lion Knight's Castle, where the Prince is holding this season's jousting tournament! Partake in a roast as provided by the Prince, but it needs care and tending lest it burn! Once the festivities are underway, cheer on your favorite knight as they joust and engage in mock-combat, and celebrate the noble efforts of all of the participants!

I'd always wanted 6060 Knight's Challenge as a child; as much as I liked the castles and siege engines and warriors, I especially loved the civilian characters and structures and this one was something I sought out after becoming an adult. It's a fun set with lots of play potential, which I tried to capture with my recreation that draws heavily upon the latest Castle sets, the Lion Knight's Castle and Medieval Town Square. In addition, I included some references to the Idea Books 200 and 250!
