2 in 1: “Knight‘s Tournament“ Stories

My fondest memories of playing with LEGO include 1979‘s „Knight‘s Tournament“. A friend owned it and we played with it for hours on end. For me it was this set that started the magic.

Strangely, what I remember most aren‘t the jousts but the stories that evolved around them. It felt like delving into another universe. And this is why my version of the set focuses on those stories around the knights‘ tournament: The merchant who has a hard time selling pretzels to battle-hardened warriors or the wolfpack beastmaster who had to deal with a very different kind of beast and now wants his pretzel-money back.

I included lots of details to inspire people to create their own stories because this is what LEGO is all about to me. And since it all started with the joust, I also made sure to use parts that can be be turned into a modern version of the 1979 set. So it is really a 2 in 1 set (see last 3 pictures). Or, hopefully: It will become an „unlimited in 1“ set for LEGO fans all over world!
