The Scorpion Tracker Expedition

Johnny Thunder and Pippin Reed are on the hunt for the legendary Re Gou Ruby! The quest has led them to a small tomb, but will its inhabitant give up the treasure so easily?

This set features a modern reimagining of the classic LEGO Adventurers Scorpion Tracker (5918) from 1998, as well as two side builds: a small tomb where our heroes discover the Re Gou Ruby, and a statue of Anubis sinking into the desert sand as an homage to another classic Adventurers set, Sphinx Secret Surprise (5978).

Adventurers was my favourite Lego theme as a kid by a considerable margin, and it remains as such to this day. I always had a fascination with ancient societies and cultures, and this theme allowed me to explore that interest through the medium of Lego.

I strongly believe that Johnny Thunder and the Adventurers are well past due for a triumphant return, and this is my humble attempt.
