The Castaway's Raft (6257)

This LEGO model is my reinterpretation of the classic 1989 set 6257 Castaway's Raft

In my new model, The once simple raft is now constructed from cylindrical brown logs arranged to simulate a rugged, makeshift design typical of castaways. It now includes a central mast with a black sail bearing a skull emblem, enhancing the pirate aesthetic. Accompanying the raft are three minifigures, each representing a distinct pirate character with classic elements like striped shirts, rugged torsos, and accessories such as a pistol and a treasure map. The surrounding scene features a small island with a palm tree, indicating a remote tropical setting, and a menacing shark model with articulated jaws, adding a sense of danger and adventure.

The model itself includes 249 pieces, along with three pirate figures. I hope you enjoy this model as much as I do!
