Sidewalk Ice Cream Parlor
Paradisa was my introduction to "real" lego and my dream theme - I wanted every set!
My modern take on 6042 Sidewalk Cafe aims to capture that dreamy beach-side nostalgia and take you right back to a world of sweet ice creams on a hot summer day near the seaside!
The model features staple Paradisa Pink tones, with pops of Azure and sand-swept Tan as modern nods to the original Paradisa palette
It has a removable roof, for added play access to the scoop-able studs (representing different ice cream flavors). And calls back to Paradisa's beach-side core with palm leaves on the roof and a surfboard shaped "menu" on the front wall
Two included 'figs can play customer/staff or relax together; under the umbrella out front, or inside on funky pink & white stools
The model is built strictly from currently available parts in available colors (but printed/stickered tiles above the windows/on the surfboard menu are something I would have loved to include if the challenge had allowed)
