    Barracuda Playground on Forbidden Island

I want to pay homage to two iconic sets: Black Seas Barracuda 6285 and Forbidden Island 6270 by creating a playground with a swinging ship and Captain Red Beard as an operator.

The swinging ship is positioned on a built base plate that recalls the original color scheme of the Forbidden Island and the operator's station incorporates several elements that recall the original set.

To design this project, I wanted to create a line for the ship and the island that recalls the original design, and I used modern construction techniques such as SNOT and modern pieces, while integrating vintage elements that evoke nostalgia in the viewer such as Captain Red Beard, the parrot or the “crow's nest” on the mast.

I think this set could appeal to all vintage lovers, also as a playground it can be integrated into any city diorama giving a touch of nostalgia.

The set consists of only 250 pieces, the count also includes the minifigures, and all the pieces already exist in the corresponding color.
