King Kahuka’s Outrigger

This is a set based on some of my favorite features from a larger islander set, “Enchanted Island”. The islander theme from the larger pirate theme was one of my favorites. I would love to see the islanders get a modern refresh and think there are several good sets. The Enchanted Island was the largest islander sets but came with a very fun canoe with a sail and outrigger. It also included a stone statue.

This set includes a modern version of the canoe with a brick built sail and canoe. It also includes a small island with a stone head replica of the original statue. Two of the original islander minifigures are included, (King Kahuka, and the female islander)

This version of an islander set also pays homage to the set “Islander Catamaran” #6256. This was a stand alone boat and I think this canoe with outrigger would have been great to have as a smaller set.
