Yellow Castle Heritage Site
Every kid in Lego City loves to visit the Yellow Castle Heritage Site and learn about its exciting history! This Castle fan has come along with her grandfather, who inspired the visit with his stories about the legendary Crown Knights, Black Falcons, and Forestmen. The costumed guide shows them around the ivy-covered ruins and helps them to imagine how this famous castle must have looked when it was first built back in 978. There's lots to see and do, from information signs and models to old suits of armour and play-jousting. If they're lucky, the guide may even break out his lute and give them a rendition of 'Yellowsleeves' or 'The Ballad of Sir Richard the Strong'!
This build reimagines the gate of the iconic 375 Yellow Castle as a crumbling ruin which could be a popular heritage site in a modern Lego City. It aims to capture nostalgia for a beloved era of Lego, but also for childhood memories of family holidays and discovering a love of history. Thank you for looking.
