Abyss Explorer HSV

I couldn't wait to show you my creation dedicated to the set I remember most nostalgically!

This was the 6175 Crystal Explorer Sub! I reinvent a modern version of it, both technologically and conceptually: Abyss Explorer HSV, Hydrogen Submarine Vehicle.

It is an autonomous submarine vehicle that can accommodate up to 3 people with more than a week's autonomy without the need to resurface.

It is designed for deep-sea exploration activities, marine biology research or luxury tourism.

The main capsule houses the command bridge from which all the parameters are monitored and thanks to which both maneuvers and sample collection activities are controlled. Samples are analyzed onboard with microscope, vacuum chamber and nanocomputer.

Propulsion relies on high-efficiency propellers (hydrogen cells). Visibility of seabed is provided by ultra-powerful lamps and epsilon-ray cameras, connected to cabin monitors.

The set has 2 minifigs: Prof. Owen and Mrs. Thalassa.
