Mini Space Racers
When my kids transitioned from Duplo to Lego, I rediscovered the joy of building Lego. Rebuilding my childhood sets and playing with my kids and wife has been an incredible experience. Naturally, I bought new sets for my kids, such as 60460 No Limits: Race Car Ramp Track. Soon after, we combined our collections to create something new: space-themed soapbox race cars that we would race around the dinner table!
For this challenge, I recreated our favorite designs and introduced new ones, incorporating modern building techniques and parts that did not exist in my childhood. Each car is a fresh take on an iconic vehicle from beloved Lego space themes.
These small models are fun display pieces that take up less space than their original counterparts, perfect for collectors with limited shelf-space. Plus, they encourage imaginative play, allowing minifigures to ride in them and zoom around the house or explore distant galaxies.
