Tug Boat

I wasn't born when the set 4005 Tug Boat was released in 1982. And even if I never had it when I was a kid, I always dreamed of having a floating boat.

This tugboat was a little simple set, but it seemed to be an iconic one. I bought it later as a grown-up : it’s a good example of the spirit of LEGO sets back in the 80’s.

I decided to create a new version of the tugboat with more details. I worked on a model scale rather than a minifig scale to stay in the 250 pieces limit. I tried to keep the color scheme of the original set and added various details to be more accurate to a real tugboat.
