Hook & Haul Wrecker
The LEGO set #6660 Hook & Haul Wrecker was a pretty cool little set, which was focused on playability and was an awesome addition to any LEGO City. This tow truck was essentially off-road capable, thanks to its moveable axis, and had an opening hood. My reinterpretation doesn't have those features, but it does have a cool towing device. I must confess, however, that for the towing device, I used basicly the design of LEGO's star designer Mike Psiaki, who designed it for the tow truck in the Modular Buildings Corner Garage set #10264. In my opinion, it's the best design possible for 6-stud-wide vehicles, which I couldn't possibly improve upon. Nevertheless, I hope, you like my new interpretaion, which brought an iconic tow truck into modern days.
To get it into the lower part limit of 200 parts, I added a few tools and a toolbox, which in my opinion are an indispensable addition to a tow truck anyway.
Hope you like my remake of this cool set!
