Blacktron Beast

Since the age of 3, I remember playing Lego. Needless to say, I received my fair share of sets. However, my all-time favorite was the Blacktron Renegade.

The black and yellow scheme with the transparent red bricks; plus the sections could separate and recombine... it was just amazing!

As for this model, I tried to emulate the nostalgic design, but with a twist. The two main components, the ship and satellite, turn into beasts : scorpion and crab. Nothing better than exploring space in beast-mode... Just in case.

Of course, there is the classic space minifig in black with white highlights that tops the set off at 248 bricks. A large enough detailed build that offers more than the classic set wile staying true to its colours.
