Fabuland Is Our Wonderland

Fabuland was the dreamland of my childhood. I often imagined myself stepping into the world of Fabuland, playing alongside its animal characters. Of course, our favorite place was always the amusement park. This creation, built with exactly 250 parts, is a tribute to the classic set 3651 Amusement Park released in 1985. (The background of the main image is redraw by me according to the page 8 of the instruction book of 3651.) The yellow Ferris wheel from 3651—which reappeared 3 years later in set 3653—has always stood out to me as one of the most iconic features of the Fabuland series. In this build, nearly half of the parts were dedicated to meticulously recreating that Ferris wheel, including the use of the newest 77107 round girder part.

Although 3651 was released 40 years ago, I believe that this redux model can still captivate children today—just as it once did for me. It would make a wonderful Gift with Purchase set to delight a whole new generation of young builders.
