Mega Tunnelator

When I was a kid I only had one set from the Ice Planet 2002 theme, but I loved it. The Blue, white, and trans neon orange pieces (especially the chainsaw) sparked the imagination and ended up in plenty of adventures with my brothers Classic Space and Space Police sets, along with Castle, Pirates, and Islanders. Even among the other space themes, they stood out, they had all the cool toys and tools, and really just wanted to be left to explore their planet of Krysto.

Although I did not own this particular set, I was inspired by the Ice Tunnelator. I saw that vehicle and thought that it would not make much of a tunnel at all, especially for the size of the other vehicles. So I made it much bigger. I reimagined what a giant version of the Ice Planet chainsaw might look like and went with trans orange teeth on a blue treads.

This larger vehicle will make short work of the glaciers of Krysto, and will finally allow easier passage for the heavy equipment.
