Crystal King Redux

The Crystal King holds a special place in my memories as one of the first lego sets to spark my imagination on the endless possiblities of Lego. Power Miners stands amongst my favorite themes Lego has ever made so I wanted to really do it justice!

There's a ton of posability in this model. He's got joints in the arms and the legs, and a hinged neck and jaw to really bring out the character! Super proud of how the eyes turned out too. Of course I had to include a power miner with a mechanical arm drill to fight the big beast!

The model has a total of 243 parts to pack as much detail as possible. I had a ton of fun trying to modernize the design of the crystal king while retaining his iconic face!
