Post Office Hoverbike

Inspiration:

This model is based on set 6651 ‘Post Office Van’ from 1982. It only had 47 parts, but (mail) bags of personality!

Me and my brother had a few Town sets including this one and I have sweet 1980s memories of playing Post Office with him. The striking red and yellow postal bikes/vans were always a firm favourite.

Features:

  • Trailer has room for 3 parcels, each containing a different surprise.

  • ‘Brandie’ the West Highland Terrier has her own bubble hovercar to chase the post van!

  • The wee robin is a reference to Victorian times, where posties were called robins due to their bright red uniforms.

  • When ‘Brandie’ isn’t flying in space, she loves nothing more than smelling flowers. Be careful with that thistle though!

N.B. I have built, tested and played with the model IRL, and used Studio to create these high-resolution renders.
