LL-497: Galaxy Voyager

This build is a modern remake of the Galaxy Explorer from 1979, only just a bit smaller! With the same shape as the classic, I added some new techniques to get the true Galaxy Explorer feel in this smaller model.

As a HUGE fan of Classic Space, I included a brand new color of astronaut, which I like to do in every new Classic Space build I make.

Classic Space is easily my favorite theme, and sadly it got discontinued a while back. But ever since, I have been trying to bring it back with new and exciting builds! I incorporated the original set number of the Galaxy Explorer into the name of this spaceship: "LL-497."

This model was actually inspired by the 2022 set 10497-Galaxy Explorer, but because that one was inspired by the set from 1979, I knew I had to pay tribute to the original. I really hope that this new ship brings back memories for those who are fans of both the original and the new Galaxy Explorer!
