Bionicle Voporak Combiner Set Minifigure Scale

In Light of Bionicle's 25th anniversary and 20th anniversary of my favourite movie of its original trilogy 'Web of Shadows', I chose to recreate the Set Voporak 10203, which itself is a Combiner Set of the three Titan Sets Roodaka 8761, Sidorak 8756 and Keetongu 8755.

The 2005 storyline had our noble Toa-Heroes return to their homeland to complete their mission of a Great Exodus, but instead being transformed into hideous half-beasts. Battling their inner darkness as their beast-side took hold over them it was a race against time -"strangely" this edgier, rebellious storyline really resonated with my young pre-teenself.

The 2005 Titans were among my first own purchases and as I just had gotten into Bionicle the year prior in 2004, loomed over my playground leaving quite the impression. Each Titan had its own distinct look and spin on how to integrate that year's main play function: the flying Rhotuka Spinners and offered great combiners.
