Rocket Racer Speed Champion

This is rocket racers car from first Lego racers game reimaged in modern Speed Champions standard.

I was creating this build for general Lego ideas until I have seen this challenge, it is like tailor made for this nostalgia inspired build.

Design:

First goal of designing was to keep elements of small car. So when creating new car I selected three most memorable elements of old car and transfer it to new card.

1. Transparent black windscreen

2. Front hood with RR logo

3. Two rocket boosters on each side of rear wing

Second goal was to add some new elements that would made sense on rocket races car.

1. Detailed interior of cockpit

2. Blow diffuser style exhaust pipes

3. Livery with red and blue lines that match rocket racers arms design, and each line more or less follows flow of air around car.
