Marendar - Salvation

Marendar, the Agori word for 'salvation'. A living weapon designed to fulfill its one destiny: neutralize any Toa that step foot on Spherus Magna. Another one to the long list of the Great Being's failsafes.

Marendar is a concept for an official BIONICLE character that never appeared in the story proper. Although mentioned and explained, the story serials of 2011 trailed off before we got a chance to see this character in action.

With a spindly frame and heavy arms, my design of the character is inspired by many robots from other media, as well as other takes on Marendar. One of my favorite ideas that enriches the BIONICLE lore even further, I hope I did Marendar justice.
