Gali Battling a Tarakava: A Minifig-Scale Diorama
Main Image: Gali Battling a Tarakava, Nokama and Ga-Koro VIllagers watch.
Second Image:
- A goal I had was to reproduce how bricks look as they age. A random number dictates a brick's age and adjusts it's material to be UV-bleached as well as have scratches and thumbprints.
- The Tarakava is build-able with real lego, thanks to the new 1x4 rounded brick
- Parts as they would appear fresh out of a Toa cannister
- Assemblage for Toa, Matoran, and Turaga - I wanted these to be modular in a way similar to their larger Counterparts
Third Image: Color Variants! I wanted to make sure all six toa were recognizable at this scale.
Fourth Image: Lily-Pad Details. I modified a technique from a lego set to create the round look.
Fifth Image:
- KauKau Falls Overview
- Nose-Piece Detail, showing how cheek fits in.
- Mouth Detail
- Cheek and Jaw Detail
- Rear internal-structure view. Pink bricks are bricks with studs on side. I built a real version of this to ensure realism.
Constructed in Stud.IO, Rendered in Blender
