Takanuva -- Toa of Light

In 2008, Lego Bionicle released a Titan set of Takanuva. The story attached to the set saw Takanuva get attached by a Shadow Leech and lose part of his light power. Now he could control both light and shadow. Light came from his left hand while shadow came from his right. The 2008 set did little to distinguish the light side from the dark side, instead sticking to a dark gray and white color scheme.

In my model, I have built a modern take on the 2008 set, showing how the set may have been if it had been made during the Generation 2 reboot and showing a split between Takanuva's dark side and his light side that the main set did not. In part because of Takanuva's 2008 storyline, he is my favorite Bionicle character and, in my opinion, one of the most unique and important characters in the story of Mata Nui.
