Tahu Nuva Reforged

An experiment I began working on a few years ago as a practice with the CCBS pieces, combining them with older BIONICLE Pieces, with a goal of balancing an armoured look without compromising articulation, resulting in the Reforged Project. The build is inspired partially by medieval knights while adding modernized touches to Tahu's iconic design. This build primarily combines building styles from sets 70787 (Tahu Master of Fire), 71308 (Tahu Uniter of Fire) and 71312 (Ekimu the Mask Maker). It provides the full range of articulation given with the 2016 building style while giving a second elbow joint in the arms while providing as much protection to the inner skeleton as possible. An arm-mounted Lava Cannon doubles as a shield, while a new Inferno Great Sword serves as his new primary element channelling weapon. The sword can be stored on his back when not in use without compromising stability.
