Minifigure: Pit Stop

Hello. One of the first LEGO sets I ever had was a LEGO Racers board game, which included some very small racecars and the classic blue-suited racecar drivers with the blank smiling face. I still have those minifigures and one of the cars, which inspired me to build this vignette of an Octan pit stop. Obviously, there is a bit of a difference between the 2 drivers' pit stops, as one has a model based off of the racecars of 2019 and the other has the racecar from the  old 6546 set.  The modern driver also has an entire pit crew supporting him while the older racer is filling his own gas tank from a retro gas pump, tragically looking on to the pit stop in front of him. I felt that this provided a little LEGO humor to the build, while also illustrating how far LEGO has come in the number of new parts and building techiques. I have always loved my old racer minifigures, and this is my way of paying a tribute to them for making me love LEGO as a small child.
