Minifigure: See You On the Other Side (Of the Glass)

One particularly unlucky marine biologist finds himself trapped behind the glass of an underwater art exhibit that is curated by Man-Sharks! Alongside him are other “display-pieces” who have been trapped far longer than he has been. It’s an unnerving experience to say the least, and not just for him!

Seeing as how the LEGO House is itself an example of architectural art, I drew inspiration for this build from one of the most famous pieces of modern art in the world, “The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living.” In my version, the spectator and gallery roles are reversed.

The trans-blue windows on the outside are meant to represent water behind glass since this is a gallery for sharks, and the people are inside clear windows to represent air-tight cases that preserve the “art.” I thought this would be a unique concept to attempt, and I love the results, hopefully you do too!
