Creatures: Basilisk
The basilisk is widely regarded as the deadliest magical creature in the world. The giant serpent is unique in that its gaze is instantly fatal to anyone who beholds it. It's venom is also among the most potent magical substances in the world, acting within minutes and being one of the only things capable of destroying horcruxes. In fact, most of Voldemort's horcruxes were destroyed by either a basilisk fang or the venom-imbued sword of Gryffindor, making this creature indirectly responsible for Voldemort's ultimate defeat.
This model is painstakingly accurate to the film, including its color scheme, length, gradually tapering body, spinal ridges, head details, forked tongue, and scary eyes! It's built in interchangeable ball-and-socket segments, highlighted in Figure 4, allowing for hundreds of dynamic poses! This model is almost five feet (1.4 meters) long when fully extended and is made from exactly 1,943 pieces (the year the Chamber of Secrets was first opened by Tom Riddle!)
