Sky Pirate Cove

Floating Land Ho!!!

This model took heavy inspiration from Ninjago Season 6: Skybound. The antagonists were a bunch of pirates who had blimps, jets, and floating islands. Why not do the same for classic pirates, then?

High above the seas, a small island floats by means nobody truly understands. A band of pirates has repurposed it for their own use, keeping all their treasure inside a cove in the small mountain. A platform was built on top for a cannon to be mounted, warning any rivals to keep away.

The island's high altitude means that it can be most easily accessed by hot air balloons. My model was heavily inspired by Skybound as well - especially the Raid Zeppelin, set 70603.
