King Kahuka´s Hidden Island

Ahoy fellow pirate!

Welcome to King Kahuka´s hidden island. King Kahuka has found a treasure so grand, that he ran away to a hidden island to protect it. The treasure is protected with by the islanders and the old island spirits. Many have tried and failed to obtain the kings treasure, both pirates and imperials. Rumour has it that Captain Redbeard has gathered a crew, and is searching all over the caribbean to find it!

The Idea

My favourite LEGO theme is pirates and when I was little I always wanted a LEGO pirate islander set. When I saw this contest I knew immediately that I was going to make my dream islander set. I wanted to mix the old classic with the new and modern style. Making this build and looking through old LEGO catalogues brought back good old memories. I hope that you too will feel the nostalgia when looking at this build.
