La Isabela

Some days before the Spanish Conquistadores hoisted their sails, left the island Fernandina and headed west to the peninsula Yucatán, they loaded tons of fruits, meet, fish, bread, wine, beer, horses and weapons. At the town of Isabela, they were celebrating and clinking for the last time. Tomorrow, they put to sea.

The set is inspired by the Lego pirate theme from 1989 till 1997 especially by the subtopic of the Spanish Armada. Unfortunately, the Spanish Armada had had no fort or castle, but now they do have – the small Spanish Outpost at the Caribbean Island Fernandina at the town of Isabela.
