The Curious Case of Edward Blackbeard
Other than that he was scary and ruled the high seas with ruthlessness, not much is known about Blackbeard, the man, his life or little pleasures. Nor what he did with his fortunes, how he spent his days away from the sea and what made his heart tick.
Here's a glimpse in Blackbeard's life at shore. A man of fine taste, he mastered the grand piano and was known to give concerts in the biggest capitals of the world. On occasion, he explored the big blue sky, along his best friend, Oscar, and planted many a flag on newly discovered far away planets.
His love of Buddhism found him often in Asia where he made great new friends.
With Oscar always by his side, he enjoyed every moment and every thrill that life on land could offer, before he returned, again and again, the call of the high seas.
PS: Yes, Oscar loved to surf naked and Blackbeard wore his wooden leg or hook or parrot only when he felt like. They mostly made him feel like going to work.
Enjoy the life of Blackbeard and Oscar!
