BRB Racing Dash: Countdown to Victory
As a fan of race games and a proud enthusiast of LEGO’s Speed Champions line, I wanted to build a BRB sign that captures the rush of speed and precision timing. The result? The BRB Racing Dash—a fast-paced, interactive display—perfect for gamers who, like me, treat every break as another race to win!
At the center is a racing wheel dash, flanked by two vibrant wings and a display reading “Livestream in…” with a digital countdown ticking away the last 30 seconds of my break.
The true magic happens with the gauge system, colour-coded for break-time alerts:
- 🚽 red, no delays—time for a pit stop.
- 🎧 orange, battery’s low—recharge soon.
- 🛏️ yellow, bedtime’s fast approaching—it’s 10:21 PM!
- 🦴 yellow, the dog's eager for a snack before settling.
- 🍪 green, just had a quick refresh.
- 🐾, 🍕, and 📞 grey, neutral—no late-night walks, dinner, or calls.
The BRB sign sits above a loading bar where a racecar speeds towards the 🏁, synced with the countdown.
