Far Away Eyes

If you're down on your luck, and you can't harmonize...

Find a girl with Far Away Eyes.

I attempted to recreate the scene I see in my head where I hear this song; a simple story about meeting a girl who makes everything alright. I built a small section of Bakersfield, California in Brick form, and crammed it full of as many everyday details and references to The Rolling Stones as I could!

Highlights include:

A Girl "sittin' in the corner. A little bleary, worse for wear and tear - with Far Away Eyes".

A Mick Jagger Look-alike who "had an appointment with a girl, and - was kind of late".

A Pick-up Truck about to run it's 21st Red Light.

A Truck Driver, driving off with only his truck.

A Mailbox with Ten Dollars going to "somewhere in Los Angeles, California".

A detalied Diner Interior with some additional look-alikes being served.

A suspiciously familiar Cake in the Front Window.
