Paint It, Black
For this contest I decided to represent my favourite Rolling Stones song, Paint It, Black.
Based on the lyrics of the song, I imagined a place where everything mentioned in the song was present. So I did, and I recreated a scene that perfectly represents the meaning of the song.
I have divided this build into two parts:
- ON THE RIGHT an all black reality that represents fear, sadness and desolation, so here I have recreated an abandoned all black house in Victorian style, which has always been synonymous with fear.
- ON THE LEFT a colorful reality full of happiness, lightheartedness and the will to live, so on this side I built a Cafe, a peaceful place where people usually get together to drink or eat something together.
In the center I built a simple house divided about in half by these two realities which are always in contrast and unpredictable.
-For this build I used 5205 pieces, 26 minifigures, of which 5 (on the right side) are the components of the 1966 Rolling Stones.
