Clue

My submission is based on Clue (1985). This set functions both as a display piece and a playable version of the classic detective game. The layout of the board is faithful to the board game, while the rooms are based on their appearances in the film.

The set includes 7 minifigures: Mrs. White, Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, and the humble butler, Wadsworth. Each house guest has a color-coded stand for gameplay, a larger stand for display, and of course, their iconic weapons.

The board includes all 9 rooms from the original game. Each room is a detailed vignette of their movie appearance, from the secret passages to the floor tiling.

Clue is very special to me. My sister and I watch the movie annually, and my family still occasionally pulls out the board game on game night. To make a long story short (too late), my design encapsulates the aesthetic of the 1985 movie while being a functional Clue game board. I hope you all enjoy!
