"Weird Al" Yankovic's UHF
Don't change the channel
Don't touch that dial
We got it all on UHF!
Welcome to U62!
Back in 1989 "Weird Al" Yankovic released the movie UHF and created a classic tale of good vs evil, while still delivering his trademark humour into it. UHF jokes and parodies what movies in the 1980s were all about.
George Newman takes over a failing UHF station. Without having anything to lose, he starts adding the craziest programming and shows that he can think of. With janitor turned TV star Stanley Spadowski and games shows like "Wheel of Fish," George turns the station around and starts rivaling the popularity of the local network station, Channel 8.
Soon Channel 8 is doing everything it can to shut down U62.
I've included several references to the movie like the Wheel of Fish gameshow wheel, the Spatula City sign, the package for Channel 8 on George's desk.
This set contains 1857 pieces and 5 minifigures:
George Newman
Bob Steckler
Stanley Spadowski
Pamela Finklestein
Kuni
