The Facts of Life (Brickheadz)
The Facts of Life was an iconic ‘80s TV sitcom that ran for 9 seasons (Aug.1979-May 1988).
It focused on the trials and tribulations of being young and transitioning into adulthood by discussing real-life topics and issues. It also reinforced the basic need of kinship and the importance of supporting others through good-times and bad-times.
For my entry, I have made the 5 main characters:
- Edna Garrett (aka Mrs. G)
- Natalie Green
- Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey
- Blair Warner
- Jo Polniaczek
I enjoyed creating this entry and having the opportunity to revisit one of my favorite shows from the ‘80s. And like the first line of the theme song states: “You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there have The Facts of Life!”
